Random Canoeing Photos

There are photographers and there are people who take pictures. My friend John is the former. He runs the website www.photographyreview.com and I urge you to avail yourself of some of his work here http://gallery.photographyreview.com/showgallery.php?ppuser=75191&cat=500. Spectacular stuff. That said, I reside firmly in the latter group...people who take pictures. Like a blind squirrel occasionally finding a nut, I as a not-a-photographer-type person occasionally take a picture I'm not ashamed of. Here are a few that I like.....

Green River, Utah

Afternoon Light At Horseshoe Bend

Silt Cut Rock Face Entrance To Potato Bottom

Anderson Bottom

Anderson Bottom

Approaching Horse Canyon

Native American Dwelling, Jasper Canyon

Jasper Canyon Silt Ripples

Utica Reservoir, Sierra Nevada, CA

Aspen Filter

Glass & Cirrus

Hell Hole Reservoir, Sierra Nevada, CA

  1. Some real great pics on here, really enjoyed looking at them

  2. If a photo conveys what you see and what you feel its good work. This is good work. Very good work. If a photo makes you want to see the real deal, like these, thats a great job.

  3. Exceptionnal views. Really nice pics! And all that with a pocket camera!
